Fallout: The Television Series

So they're collecting bottle caps?
bottle caps are the currency of the wasteland in the games, yes. So he's basically making money by removing the caps.

The NCR and legion did mint their own currency, but outside of the those areas, most people deal with Caps because of how prolific and durable they were.

With the Ghoul now starting to have one-sided conversations with the dog, I wonder if they're going to lean into the Boy and his Dog parallels and have the dog eventually telepathically communicate with the Ghoul, even if if just turns out to be the Ghoul's imagination providing a voice for the dog.

JD, did you mean to say Thaddeus? He was the one who employed young kids. It seems the kids were doing okay under his supervision.

Especially when most kids are dead by that age ;)

He is probably taking advantage of them, but I suspect there are people that'd treat them a whole lot worse, and he did put himself between them and a fanatic with a very big gun...

I'm pretty sure we saw people using bottle caps as currency in Season 1 too.
It cost Maximus 5 caps to get a piece of his suit repaired in season 1 - he had 4 so had to go and get a tooth removed for additional bottle caps

Yeah, as much as I don't like child labor, in the Fallout world it is probably one of the better situations for them to be in. Like you said, did seem to be treating relatively well.

That was a fun episode and they're throwing everything into the pot now and i love it. I remember when i first met a Deathclaw in the game and it just tore me to shreds in record time

Love Lucy this season. She is adapting but still not getting rid of her cheery attitude that feels so out of place in the Fallout world yet makes her so adorable even when she's hopped up on drugs and goes on a Feral Ghoul killing spree ( while The Ghoul is watching this as entertainment).

The Brotherhood storyline, though important i guess, is also moving along which is strangely enough the least interesting part of this season for me. I hope now that they got Maximus out of this storyline he can reunite with Lucy and The Ghoul as soon as possible so we can have the core gang back together.

I just love the show, finally a good videogame adaptation.

Best episode since the premiere. Drugged up Lucy was a blast, and I'm glad Maximus is getting away from the Commonwealth stuff. That creature at the end was gnarly. I also appreciated more from Vault 32 and Vault 33 this week. Stephanie has become creepy all of a sudden. I fear Woody is not going to make it out alive this season.

Yeah this one was great.
I have to agree that stoned Lucy was hilarious.
So does the opening flashback mean that monsters already existed before the bombs were dropped? I thought all those kind of creatures were supposed to be a result of the bombs that Vault-Tec and the other corporations dropped on everyone.
That was not quite how expected things to go with Maximus, but I liked it. Hopefully this means it won't be too much longer before he joins back up with Lucy and The Ghoul.
I have feeling poor Woody won't be around much longer, I have expected Stephanie to kill he right there in her apartment.
I really wish I had rewatched Season 1, because I can't remember exactly what is going on with Vaults 31, 32, and 33, or why exactly Hank blew up Shady Sands.

That's a Deathclaw, they were bioweapons (IIRC) created by the Government before the war.
