God, what a fantastic (and expensive) couple of months for games this is.

Picking up F3 for the PC tomorrow. I chose PC as you can still get achievements with your XBL gamertag (it's a GFW title), and it'll look much prettier at higher res on my machine.

Anybody else getting it?

Anybody know if tomorrow is the REAL release date, or if it's simply the ship date ... ? Meaning could I find it on actual store shelves tomorrow or do I have to wait 'till Weds (like I did with Dead Space).

I know it's available for download on Steam tomorrow ...

Game.co.uk shipped my preorder this afternoon, and it doesn't come out over here until the 31st, so hopefully I'll get it early.

Can't f'ing wait. Been having a wail of a time with Fable 2 and Far Cry 2 since Thursday, but I'm definitely concentrating on this as soon as it comes. Too many vidya gaemz!

These 3 will tide me over for a while, although I'll be sorely tempted next month with Gears 2, Banjo Kazooie: N&B and Mirror's Edge. My wallet can't take this.

I'm picking it up along with the Dead Space: Downfall animation.

I have my copy of the PC collector's edition preordered from Gamestop's website, they had a free overnight shipping code. :techman:

Actually it's a Games for Windows Live title, Games for Windows games don't have Live integration/achievements.

I'm being lazy and getting the 360 version. I'll probably double dip at some point, maybe when I pick up a new PC.

Preordered on Steam. TBH, I'm not expecting anything spectacular... I thought Oblivion was fun but overrated and I'm expecting the same this time around. But we'll see!

This will probably be my "winter break" game or something similar. With Lich King coming out, I probably won't have much time for anything else.

I pre-ordered the CE. Hopefully it'll be here tomorrow. Fallout 3 is the game I've been looking forward to most this fall.

Still torn about whether to get it PS3 or PC. I have an 8800GT and a dual core system with 4GB of RAM, but I'm not sure if that's enough to run it fluidly with all the bells and whistles at 1680x1050, also, does the PC version have support for the 360 controller?

I kinda want to get it on PS3 because I'll be assured of a certain level of performance and I can sit back and play it on my HDTV.

Your PC will run the game perfectly well, and by all accounts the PS3 has sub-par visuals and a choppy framerate compared to the other two.

I'd definitely get the PC version if I were you. 360 for me though because my comp is an ageing piece of crap. But yours certainly isn't. ;)

I know the PC will run it, but I'm not sure how well at that resolution. Another reason to get the PC version is the possibility of Mod support (assuming Besthesda releases tools). I doubt the PS3 troubles are anywhere near as bad as folks are making it out to be, people would have you believe Bioshock is unplayable on PS3 but it plays just fine to me, it couldn't possibly be worse than Oblivion's performance.

Your system will run it really nicely, but probably at a slightly lower res.

The 8800GT is the best possible card you can buy for under $350 and it performs like some $500 cards.

However, while 1680x1050 with 2xAA will be playable with your system, it might get slightly choppy (I think especially because F3 sports long draw distances). You can bump that res down just slightly and it'll still look beautiful (way better than a console version will) and play smoothly.

And yes, Fallout 3 PC has full support (vibration included) for the 360 controller.

If you have a PC powerful enough to play it, I'd buy the PC version over the 360 version (because you still get achievements, DLC, etc.)

I have the PC version on pre-order, but I suspect it may just be another fun game. The claims of a deep story and 200 hours of gameplay are very suspect, and the gametrailers review seems to confirm that it may indeed be Oblivion with guns. We'll see though.

On 1up Yours they pegged the main campaign at 20-30 hours. It's much more focused than Oblivion, which may be a good thing.

Neat, I guess I'll get that then, Achievements/Trophies and DLC don't really sway me either way.

On the reviews: a lot of them are getting posted at midnight EST. Not sure what the reason for the embargo is, but that's just a few hours off.
