Failures in Life

Warren Buffet didn't attend some fancy pants business school, and he seems to be well off.

Columbia MBA my friend ;) Got rejected at Harvard.

And regarding Bill Gates. He created the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation. Unlike Bono/Jobs, who need to whore out themseleves and products to create this allusion they care about the world. As a Rotarian, Bill Gates' foundation donated $355M dollars to ending polio. Name any other person in this world that can pour such resources to such an admirable goal.

I disagree that money is worthless as it is a tool who in the right hands can do amazing things (see above).

OBVIOUSLY GWB didn't get into Harvard on merit.

"Seldom is the question asked: Is our children learning?"

Obviously not. Yet this moron became President.

Don't let external factors which you have no control over define success or failure for you.

 Yeah, and Barrack Obama, the so-called Constitutional expert, is a real brain trust.

Then there's AlGore, Ted Kennedy, and Joe Biden.

Never look at them as failures, think of them as learning experiences.

:shifty:

I had a teacher in junior high who used to give us "Learning Experiences" because he didn't like the word "test."

I also had a teacher who was quite fond of telling you to "Take this as a Learning Experience", just before he gave us six of the belt as it was known......thank god the maximum for corporal punishment back the was six belts.

But it worked, i did not forget it, and i did learn, not to talk in his class when he was talking..:lol:

The thing at the end of the day I want to make the most $$ in the shortest time as possible.
I guess the question is, why is that your goal? What do you plan to do after you've accumulated money? Why do you want to play the games other people play so much?

Jan

I wouldn't sweat it too much. I've failed at everything I've ever tried. Which makes me a success.

God, I love irony......
