Facts about... unnamed Ben Cumberbatch character

"Sylar and Sherlock- on a collision course for wackiness!"

Cumby: What?!? CBS is doing their own version of Sherlock Holmes in the modern day?!?

Spock: Yeah and Watson's a chick!

Cumby Well, frak me!

Good Sir, Please do not speak badly of the Myrshak/Culbreath novels.

Mysterious: I am Vulcanian!
Spock: No, you're not.
Mysterious: Yes! I! Am!
Spock: Stop talking like that.

And he was Sherlock Fucking Holmes in another life.

He could kick seven shades of crap out of Robert Downey Jr's Sherlock without breaking a sweat.

The Klingons in JJTrek wear helmets because they know they could never be as awesome as Benedict Cumberbatch's mysterious unnamed character (henceforth MysUnChar)

Spock can beat up Kirk, MysUnChar can beat up Spock. Kirk wouldn't have a chance.

He shrugs of Vulcan nerve pinches like Transformers shug off small-arms fire.

The Enterprise is doomed. I am so siding with the villain...but heck, I've been siding with the villain ever since I found out he's Sherlock.

Yes, I am quite shallow that way. Why do you ask? :p

Cumberbatch has pointed sideburns, which probably means he's connected to Starfleet somehow...

Thinking about it, Cumberbatch is probably a Starfleet officer (not necessarily Mitchell). The dress uniforms we see Pegg and Yelchin in could be for the funeral service of the character at the end of the film.

I hope they let him keep his rather accent-free English, even if he is Mitchell. I hated what they did to Tom Hardy's speech in This Means War. The Americans couldn't understand him? Nonsense. They're not retarded, and they did just fine with Inception, where he speaks in his natural voice, I believe.

Anyway. I have a soft spot for good-looking villains...even if it means that the trope "evil Brit" will be fulfilled yet again. :p

We don't even know if he was American. They never said where he was from...he could've been from Mars or another Earth colony.

His birth city is listed as Eldman on the record we see from Where No Man..., Google doesn't show that it exists as of yet. :techman:

I was more interested in his accent, though in the end it doesn't matter....as long as it is halfway convincing.

If Mitchell isn't an American, and Cumberbatch is Mitchell, then maybe he won't have to labour through a fake American accent.

The BBC turned Irene Adler into an English dominatrix and Moriarty into a crazy little sadist with a pronounced Irish accent, so maybe Hollywood is flexible that way. Well of course they are, they turned Charles Xavier into an Englishman and Magneto into a German. :)

It has to be convincing, or it'll pull me right out of the film. I am pedantic that way.
