Fact Files Style Interior Drawings

Frontier

Dual topic here...

First up, wondering if everyone can pool their resources for something akin to the "bridge porn" threads. Only this time, for anything interior starship we don't already have or have in abundance? Especially of fact file style drawings.

Second aspect of this is, wondering if anyone who lurks around here has the skill to create such works, and might be interested in doing so on commission (as in for pay)?

Yes! I would like that. The was never a website of panorama shots of the Kelvin, and The Narada bridges as was done with the Enterprise. Please, please. How about stuff for the shuttles of the Enterprise, and the Kelvin?

Ah, the stuff they did in Adobe Illustrator. I've never been able to accomplish anything in Illustrator, but I've seen similar drawings done very nicely in Google Sketchup.

Please forgive my ignorance, but what, exactly, do you mean by "Fact Files style?"

careful asking questions around here, scott. the folks 'round these here parts have mastered bitmap and as such dont take too kindly to inquiries. computer doodling is srs bzns, not for the faint of heart, and you have to earn your keep around here, son.

^^^ Ummm....

No body has other images like these?

No one is interested in creating such for (modest) payment?

I'd love to, but I have my own ongoing projects to which I must devote my time...sorry.

I wouldn't mind having a go at this. If it's TNG era stuff. *I don't know if there's enough reference material for a complete understanding of the 2009 movie sets. Check my art page there's some bridges I made in flash they aren't isometric but I could make them. I'm on iPhone until I get broadband on 11th July so I can't open flash to get the individual URLs

Basically, isometric blueprints.

Isometrics, yes. "Blueprints" no.

Isometric, color illustrations.

Anybody know what program was used to do those?

EDIT: Oops - I missed the Illustrator comment.
Are we sure they weren't done in a 3D program? I've done plenty of isos in CorelDraw, but it seems a 3D program would be better for this.

The Star Trek Fact File/Magazine isometric cutaways of the various bridges and rooms would be cool. My Flickr site mentioned here is a collection of all the official and unofficial stuff seen on the web on various websites and boards.

Since the 'Bridge Porn' thread has gone by way of the dodo, this revival may spark some interest. I look forward to seeing what is out there myself. I even have a wish list of bridges I would like to see which I might put up here.

This is one I made myself a long time ago. I created the room itself with some simple paint shop stuff, and then cut out all the other items -- funiture, consoles -- from other official images. It's the ready room of a Raven class ship.

Then these are some fan created I've found...

^True. I picked the wrong word, but you got the meaning.

Yup. Just being pedantic. :)
"Blueprints" were something very specific - blue with white lines. Technically, I don't think even their successors, blueline diazo prints, were properly called blueprints.
