Facebook Scrabble players??

Are there any facebook scrabblers here?

On another website I frequent, they hold occasional friendly scrabble comps. I just finished playing one and found it quite enjoyable. They aren't hard to set up and if we get enough interested people here I reckon it would really go off.

What do you reckon? Fancy playing against your fellow Trekbbsers? You could be the inaugural TrekBBS Scrabble Champion

There are a few players I know here on the TrekBBS, including myself on occasion.

There's only one big problem: due to licensing and trademark red tape, there are two versions of Scrabble on Facebook: the Hasbro Scrabble for US and Canada players, and Mattel Scrabble for the rest of the world. As I found out to my disappointment, they are mutually exclusive and never the twain shall meet - if you're in North America, you can't play the Mattel version so therefore you can't compete against the rest of the world's players, and vice versa.

As I'd qualify as "rest of the world" however, I'd be able to play you.

I play Lexulous on facebook. Or "Fake" Scrabble as I like to call it. I'm up for a game of real Scrabble with someone.

I have about 4-6 games of US Scrabble going with various FB friends at any time. Some combination of my wife and other married couples we're friends with.

Just don't try to play scrabble with cavemen. The only word they know is "Uhh" and they can't spell it.

I play semi-often on FB (mostly with my girlfriend), but I'm also a US resident.
