Facebook notifications are shown as new under outlook

So I finally added the notification RSS of facebook to outlook 2003 RSS group but it always show me the notifications as unread and bold under Outlook even after I read them or marked them as read. In the next "send and recieve" I get them as unread. Is there a way to solve this?
