OK I finished the game today. That's got to be the lamest non-ending I've ever seen. You finally get to the final boss... and you shoot him once and he's dead. Utterly ridiculous. So I guess the battle against the Giant Shard was the REAL final boss. WTF. Still, I enjoyed the game a great deal over all. I did all the side quests, I got all the gargoyles...

The climax isn't the boss, but the choice after it... but yeah, it's almost impossible to end a game where you're allowed to keep on playing.

Loved this game. Reading this thread makes me want to jump back in and continue. But I'm totally immersed in Dragon Age right now ... so no need to juggle two fantasy RPSs at the same time.
