The worst thing about the first Fable game was it's unfulfilled promises, and I do think it hurts it in the minds of people who played it.
Having said that, it was a beautiful looking and sounding game, it was fun to play, and was still as good or better than most action/adventure/rpgs I've played in the past five years, so I still consider it a quality game. I will definitely try out the sequel.

Agreed. It probably would have been far better recieved if Molyneux had kept his trap shut during development.
