Fable 2 furniture message glitch

Playing Fable 2 (360) and for some reason at the top of the screen I have a message telling me about buying furniture, it simply won't go away and its annoying as hell. Am not that far into the game (just found Hammer) and thinking about restarting its too annoying always being there filling top of screen.

help.

Umm... try to buy some furniture and see if it goes away? Clear the cache and redownload any patches that may have come out? Try getting the "free" versions of the DLC packs? I dunno.

Brought some and turned off tutorials and its seemed to have worked...glad too am rather enjoying the game though am not completly sold just yet.
