Paramount changed Saavik's eye color from green (ST II) to brown (ST III).

to add on this, the actor playing Spock in TSFS as 10 years old had beautiful blue eyes, needed to use darkbrown contacts in the movie.

Eh, count me in as someone who doesn't really care about eye colors, and I couldn't tell you what color any of the actors' are off the top of my head. For all we know in the 23rd century changing your eye color is just as common and easy to do as dying your hair another color.

I clicked on this thread thinking it was a parody of the 'they don't look the same!!!' threads, but apparently we're seriously discussing the eye colour of the actors.
Different actors --> different eye colour. Different hair colour, different face shape, different body shapes and muscles, because they're different people. Accept it, they're hiring people on acting ability (i hope) plus, to please the fans, some vague resemblance to the original actors. They're not looking for body doubles.

It seriously worries me how some people can't differentiate a fictional character and the look of a particular actor, especially on minor details like this which 95%+ of the TOS audience wouldn't even have noted.

The only place in this film where look matters is those characters whose 'older selves' will be appearing - at the moment only confirmed to be Quinto - because then there is a realism issue regarding ageing. Beyond that, it is irrelevant.
