Extended sequences with no Enterprise crew

Nona and the Villagers in "A Private Little War". And Apella and the Klingon (I forget his name) in the same episode. Granted Kirk and McCoy were hiding in the room, but with them out of sight, it was just Apella and the Klingon.

Not that we were introduced or really told it, but I believe he was called Krell!

I've probably posted this before, but the first time I saw that episode as a kid I remember thinking, "What the heck is this? Star Trek is supposed to be on!"

Or when I was recording the audio of this one back in 78 and got blasted away by the sound of those engines after the credits! :wtf:

The scenes on the Lexington in "The Ultimate Computer." For nearly 10 minutes, we see Commodore Bob Wesley lecturing the science officer on configuring proper sensor settings, mentoring the helmsman on the best way to change warp drive settings, and telling a joke to the chief engineer. We also see him chiding Captain Harris from the Excalibur on maintaining proper distance in a four starship formation. Then the Enterprise attacks and all hell breaks loose.

Oh wait....
