Mr. Silvercrest and I have a huge choice to make in 5 days now. His company is moving to another state. He can move with it or there is an option to stay in the same state at a new company, but the work would not be that interesting and in 2 years he would likely need to find something new. He could also start looking for something new and hope it would not be too much of a pay cut in the new place. But not much notice on such a big change. We are trying to decide what to do. And it is not easy. So yeah feeling very unsure and unsettled right now. We are making lists of each choice and trying to decide. But whatever we do decide much change will be needed here at home and change can be hard as well. We have had a hard time of it the last 4 years. First everything with my dad's health and he was very hard to deal with along with some other things that were very unfair. Then he died. And I had two health problems right in a row. First got an ulcer because of all the stress of those two years with dad. Then I broke both my ankles and was in a wheel chair for 3 months. Now I am okay finally had my first walk of a 5k and doing another one this weekend. But now this! It is so hard to decide what to do in so short of a time I mean they gave us 6 days now it is 5. Also to consider is my mom she lives in a care home. She lives on the independent side (with total care on the other, which is where my dad was). But I am an only child and have no family interest or support. My husband and I are all she has really. And there is more too it, but doubt she could or would want to make such a move. indeed! As from yesterday evening, at my office we are ordered to announce all meetings to the administration for a risk assesment to be performed and we are to report all participants and all activities planned. I wonder if they'll think of making a risk assessment for the weekly sausage-breakfast in which all the office participates (some 120 people)With an appropriate 1 metre of space between each of us, of course...
