usually i just record everything into audacity and or the midi into the reaper program.. just record and layer stuff with effects I upgraded my DAW=digital audio workstation.. the supernova iI to os 2 via a midi format of the os in the supernova II..

I have been playing this since that article was published in dec 2000 so like almost 19 years of constant play and record I do not have all the fourtrack recording for tape digitized from back in 2000-now.. although I don't do fourtrack tape recordings anymore .. it is all on the computer records.. on to the two teraquads I am filling up fast.

The reason I said host and "what a lot of other people refer to as DAW" is that the actual DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) includes the computer, itself (ie. PC, Mac).

I need to get Komplete again. I miss not having Reaktor, Kontakt, Battery, Absynth, and Massive.

I had cubase in 2004-5 but when it was time to upgrade the OS on the supernova cubase failed.. I had go with a freeware midi-ox configuring all the timings was outside anything I had done cause basically I had to upload to the supernova the whole new os.. from version 1.4 to 2.0 if they come out with a 3.0.. I might lose my mind.. I am tutoring a friend who bought the Komplete he brings over his surface and such.. 3ds Max I would like to see i have been doing video filters and convolution matrix effects but reached a limit the computer crashes when applying variables in the matrix or fractal maths there.. so I have stopped to wait for ... updates..today I use the milkdrop free winamp thing for easy video work and the avs for doing new things.. I wonder about these helpdesk things like ... in three d video I put together some... bryce work in 2008 which was fun mmmm let me show you..below
but I have not found reasonable three d programs in my price range..
Bryce in 2005 and on was free for the most part. say like that I can do with mandelbulber is ... not working with the update so I can't use that been in contact with the programmers and they don't know why and are more busy with the people that it does work for... ---- I know somehow if I delve into current program CL stuff I could either make my own interface or ... just something that would work for me..
I am in an international group of musicians that improvise every weekend and post and mix the improvised works together some , that takes the time to keep up with their new music and my making new music. it is very fun..

that is game design with the physics of limits I have played with blender for a long time it is still on my machine but... I have also worked with say unity3d and well I had the video screens moving and all in the program then ... it crashed and never worked again ;( I worked with sansar.com and they are still in the buggy corrections phase .. unreal 4.20 seems the best but going between all the different 3d game engines is .. what confusing and probably why it crashes as much as it does for me. But the three mentioned game engines are free but yes Blender was the first free one.. --- still If I get the fractal program working at some point that would be my focus as I have done fractals since mmmmm like 1988 in college you know.
