express yourself/your life in one word for today, v 2.0

I hope everyone is doing better today.

@Screamble I’m sending a big hug your way.

@Gary Mitch-HELL I’m sending Advil!
Thanks Tribble. I need one the size of a Buick.

I'm sorry, @Gary Mitch-HELL. :(

Me:

LowerThanLow.

I had to give bad news to someone. Bad news that I have/had the power to rectify, but I'm honestly in no condition to do so. Catch 22.

@Gary Mitch-HELL do you suffer from migraines by any chance? I get cyclical migraines, though they are less frequent than when I was younger. It doesn't work for me now, but you could try drinking an ultra-strong cup of coffee. That only works if you're a non-coffee drinker though I think (hence my failure with it now). ;)

I get some pretty bad headaches once in awhile but I'm pretty sure they're not migraines. No sensitivity to light or anything. Usually Excedrin helps (it has caffeine in it).
I think my problem is with my brain being missing. My head is actually mostly empty and when a storm comes the difference in the pressure inside and outside my noggin causes pain. Thanks for the tip.

Ah, if it's a pressure-related headache then I doubt the caffeine will help... just a thought.
... your brain is missing? :eek:

I've had some pretty bad headaches in my life, but I believe I've only experienced one migraine, and that was in the last year. I hope it's not the start of a trend.

Light-sensitivity, nausea, the works.

Migraines can be crippling. They wipe me out. Vision goes first with a horrid light in the middle. Numb down one side, vomit over and over (nice ;)) and the headache. It's almost like having concussion. Totally sympathise with anyone who gets them.

Migraines are terrible... the nausea, vision flares and light sensitivity, and the severe pain. It's like someone driving an ice pick into my right temple (mine are right-sided for some reason ).

...I am truly grateful that I only get them a few times a year now. When I was younger I'd suffer weekly with those blasted things.
