(there's only a wafer-thin wall between my office and the chief chemist's and he's shouting at someone. Annoyed not so much because of the noise but because of the bad manners. IMHO there's no excuse ever for shouting. Scientific discussions must always be to the fact and unemotional. Unpleasant truths ought to be told in a decent tone and manner. And he should do it when and where nobody can/must listen and refrain from getting personal.)

Went to the doctors today and found out I had an infection in my tonsils, adenoids, my lungs and nose. Far better than what I thought it was.
