express yourself/your life in one word for today, v 2.0

Thank you, but I do still exist.

I'm planning a trip to the ER tomorrow. I couldn't really do it today as my mom was an election judge and was really looking forward to it. I didn't want to pull her away from it. My housemate still needed to vote and I certainly wasn't going to take them away from that.

Unless something severe happens tonight, I'll be spending most of the day at the hospital tomorrow and more than certain that when I come home, it will be with one fewer foot digits.

This laying about has really done a number on my already-weak musculature and skeletal system. It's been pretty tough getting anything done.

Difficult to tell without having seen it but I think you're a bit too pessimistic there. They'll propably have to cut the wound out a bit to clean it but the fact that you are well and luicid enough to post is a good sign. Nevertheless it'll take very long to heal, I'm afraid.

I appreciate it. ou've given me a tiny bit of hope, but I'm still pretty sure I know the outcome of all of this.

My mom sends me an email this morning before I woke up saying that she just got back from the doctor saying that she has walking pneumonia and my housemate reminded me of a can't-miss appointment that they have tonight that I will need to be the driver for.

So it looks like the ER will be tomorrow.

Don't wait too long.

Don't wait too long. Gangrene can work its way very fast sometimes. You could regret even hours of delay.

Can you go overnight? I think you mentioned that you don't always tend to sleep, so maybe that's an option? The wait times might be better then too.

Here's my issue. I don't want to drive myself to the hospital in case I do happen to lose an appendage. Obviously, I won't be able to drive again for a while if that happens and I don't want it to cost too much to retrieve my car (whoever ends up doing that, if not me).

I would do exactly that (go overnight), but I seem to be subject to everyone else's whims right now.

I'm not trying to run people's hopes and worries and good faith thin and I know how it must seem right now, but, TBH, either outcome of this (I recover or a die) is fine with me.

Please give an update when you're able to... :(

{{{{{{{Scribble}}}}}}} please keep us updated. As long as the bone isn't effected, you have good chances to keep the toe. Don't give up hope that easily. There are lots of fingers being crossed for you all over the world today.
