Almost vertically? Only way I can think of that working is if the plane entered a spin. And the only way *that* could happen would be if it stalled due to insufficient airspeed.

I don't know what kind of spin-recovery ability those big planes have. I doubt it's very good.

Some stupid woman at work who is constantly sending around dumb chain emails and conspiracy theories sent this around the office. I took great pride in replying to her and everyone else in the office with a link to Lostpedia showing the exact same shots. God people are stupid sometimes.

Yeah, I got to do the same thing to a guy my boss hired to assist me with IT stuff, but he's turned out to be cat help. He hit me and a bunch of his friends with the stills, and the "Reply All" button never felt so good to use!
