Excelsior Study Models and other kitbashes

Hi folks,

I was reading the Ex Astris Scientia article on the Excelsior study models, and they look like really nice alternate designs. I was wondering if anyone's done any CG models of them anywhere, may some orthographic finished views.

Specifically the study model 1, four-nacelle study model 1, four-nacelle study model 2, three nacelled Excelsior, and the Constitution 'destroyer' from the DS9TM, Antares, and the Bradford. I am working up a wiki with a more 'fleshed out' Starfleet that's more military but still focused on exploration, and I'd like to include these as ship classes in the expanded fleet. There have been rumors that Eaglemoss may produce some, or possibly all, of them in their official ship line. Ben just confirmed they're expanding the series to 160 issues, which may include them. Memory Alpha lists all the ships they've developed, along with the planned designs.

It's not on the EAS page, since the design never made it to the study model stage, but Gepard made a model of an early Excelsior design a while back.

Over at starshipmodeler--there was an rpauly or pauly 1972 that made several of these as I recall.
