Indeed, thanks to EVERYONE who helped make this possible!
Here's our director, Jim Smagata, shaking hands with Walter yesterday. I don't want to spam up the BBS, but a bunch more pictures are up on our Facebook page (I can link to that without breaking board rules, right?).
That's some terrific recall, and an excellent argument! But... we do not place STOGAM within the Excelsior canon.
I think that's a fair assumption. I think it's also safe to say that if listeners know more about the backstory and are familiar with our regular characters they will enjoy the story even more.
With a hard release date of September 8, there's plenty of time for anyone who's so inclined to catch up on the current series to any extent they wish.
Update: Excelsior has reached an agreement with yet another well-known actor/actress from the Star Trek universe to join our special episode. We have notified donors who that is, but we are not releasing that information to the general public yet. We do have tentative recording dates set and should have a specific date nailed down soon. It is perhaps worth repeating that the parts of Mr. Koenig and Ms. Nichols are already recorded.
