Thank you for all of the external pics. They do help, but this is going to be mainly a go by the set of my pants. I have a lot of internal deck plans of federation starship deck plans and have a good idea of what should be in what location. Since there isn't really any concert description of what is on what deck except for the side cut away (which is what I am using), I am going with the concept of what is in Enterprise's decks and sections and up scaling them for the larger crew. Like this: Enterprise has 430 crew, Excelsior around 850. So if there is 16 laundry machines for Enterprise,there should be around 32 to 36 for Excelsior. If there are 4 life support equipment on Enterprise stardrive section, there should be 8 to 10 in Excelsior stardrive section. The cut away shows the basic layout of the midline turbolift tracks and the layout for the warp core, horizontal and vertical intermix chambers. So a lot of the fill in the blanks, I am pulling off existing deck plans from Cyprus that I have. I may send these to the companys that did those plans and see if I can get them published after I am done.I will upload a sheet to Photobucket so you can see how I am doing. I have the basic layout for Decks 4, 5, 6 and 7 the four of the five Dorsal section (neck) decks and Stardrive decks 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17 laid out so far. The slop of the stardrive deck I have to go and correct on them. Things are going good when I work on it between writing reports for my Masters degree. I will keep everyone up to date. If anyone does finds any walkthroughs of the Excelsior (you know), this is on deck 5, this is on deck 6, this is on deck 7, let me know the links. They will help me out.

I haven't quit finished the internals, but this is what I have completed so far.
Very impressive! Great level of detail going on, and you did a good job trying to fit the turbolift network in without making the ship's corridors into a maze, which can be tricky on ships this size. I also like how you'd managed to tie in the intermix shafts to the impulse drives using twin vertical shafts.
One you you may take a look at is Deck 2. On the model, there are windows running down both sides, but I don't see any corresponding stuff on the plan.

These look good man, This is a ship i wouldnt mind tackling at some stage. I noticed youre using elements from strategic design/cydonia6, you might want to atleast mention
Yes I am using the base elements from strategic design/cydonia6. In particular the Enterprise refit. I am planning to send this to them after I complete it so they can use it as the basis for their rendition of the ship. Of course I will change the bridge layout so it is more like the layout from the Star Trek: Undiscovered Country Movie
I like the work you did but i'm with NervousEnergy; it definitely took me the better part of an hour to download the sheets; not for DL-times but because the page was failing. Probably because of overclocked ads.
They are rather large sheets. I was doing more work on then and noticed a grievous error that I made. I placed the ventral saucer phasers on the wrong deck and forgot deck 8. Well, I corrected those errors and have finished the internals for decks 1, 2 and 3. I have done the initial layout for all decks down to deck 25. I have also done a title sheet and a history sheet which includes all of the known ships of this class. As I stated in the beginning, if you are planning to download these sheets, most likely it will take a while. I put 7 dual phaser banks on the saucers bottom, this is because most saucer pictures that I have seen has 7 dual phaser banks on the ventral side of the saucer. there are 6 dual pahser banks on the dorsal saucer with one being near the impulse deck, which I have to insert on to the plans. I have also noticed on some pictures a phaser bank on the dorsal deck house between the nacelles. I do not think I will include this single dual phaser mount unless I cannot think of anything to place on that deck. I am around 75% sure I will include it. The longest part of this will be the labeling.

Here is my attempt to use imgur.com to upload the deck plans. The test by placing the IRL in the address bar worked, so I hope that everyone can look at the plans as they are to this date. It is hard working with mspaint and paint shop pro to do this job since my knopwledge of how to fully use paint shop pro is limited. I have to use a word document to get the machinary angled properly, then transfer back to mspaint and then open with paint shop pro to get the machinary in the right place on the plans. I like the title sheet that I did, and I like the placement of each deck. As I said, this is a partially done project and I am sharing the work that I have done so far. I hope everyone likes them.

I still have to get the decreasing hull lines on the deck plans, so the width of each deck might change. The outer ring on Deck 8 is meant for the passage of wiring trunks and crawl spaces (Jeffry Tubes). Yes I am going to properly place Jeffry tubes on this deck plan. The passage on the Constitution Refit Deck 7 done by Strategic Design is not properly done. If you look at the bottom of the Constitution's saucer, it is shaped like a bowl. This is so, when saucer separation is preformed, the saucer's atmospheric flight is slowed down. The bowl shaped bottom of the saucer acts like a giant parasail (spelled wrong). The Excelsior does not have this feature, so this meant that the Deck 7 and 8 gave more head room to greatly increase the machinery spaces on those decks. The Deck 7/8 cargo deck(s) is larger and there are newer fabricator interlinks which allows the material inside the cargo modules to be "uploaded" into the fabrication machinery. This feature is also seen on the Intrepid, I thought adding it to Excelsior would show how technology advances started to occur with this ship class. As you can see, I did use the 14 dual bank and the saucer bottom and the 6 dual bank on the saucer's top and the 7th dual bank is on the deck house that is in between the nacelles. You can also see a total of 5 dual bank phaser emplacements on the stardrive section. Effectively, the Excelsior has 14 phasers in 7 dual banks in an upper and lower hemispheric configuration. The two banks on the top of the impulse deck and the one on top of the deck house in between the nacelles is associated with the two additional phaser mounts on the bottom of the saucer. The ship also has six mega phasers and four photon torpedo launchers.
The imgur link works much better. You may want to look into Inkscape, I think it may be easier to use than some of what you're doing with Word and so on.
The Librarian, thank you for the suggested program. I need a program that can turn an object in different angles than a 90 degree turn. As you can tell, some of the machinery is at 5, 10, 15, etc. degrees. This is the reason I send the item to a Windows document and do the turn there checking the angle with the deck plan and where I want it placed. Then switching over to paint shop pro allows me to erase the back ground and then move the item into its place on the deck plan. I will look at Inkscape and see if I can use it, but initial looks at the system, it cannot do the angling that I need done. I can only see a 90 degree turn option. I will continue to tinker with the program.

You can rotate to any angle you want in Inkscape. One way is to click on an object twice (not double-click) to activate the rotational handles, then drag a handle to any angle (CTRL-click to snap by 15 degree increments). Or you can go to Object>Transform, and key in any angle on the Rotate tab.
Can I rotate individual items on a pic? Like I have several Water tanks that I need to place around the outer edges of one of the saucer decks. Can I rotate each tank by a few degrees without affecting the entire picture?
Inkscape is a vector program, not a raster program like PSP. You'd need to bring in the water tanks as individual objects. Not exactly sure how you're using them. But honestly, I'm rather impressed with what you've been able to accomplish so far. So if that's what works for you, keep at it. Although I'd be surprised if PSP can't do what you're looking for by itself, without having to go through Paint and Word.
