"evil" music?

If you are looking for "evil" music-

Tubular Bells was used in the Exorcist, Night On Bald Mountain was used for the demon scenes in Fantasia, and there is an entire album by KISS called "music from The Elder" that is downright creepy.....

O Fortuna from Carmina Burana really annoys me. Probably one of the most overplayed pieces ever, and not even amusingly catchy in the way that other overplayed jingle Pachelbel's Canon is. The X Factor's absolutely incessant use of Carmina Burana drives me up the wall. If you're outside the UK, you won't understand just how much that show uses it.

I LOVE this music. I like to see battles and such scored to it. I've seen war pieces, sports videos, pro wrestling videos, etc all scored to this music and love it.

I assume this is different 'evil music' from that bit earlier on in the show, whenever Satan's kid showed up we would hear this ominous music and what sounded like chanting, but the voices were actually saying "Rectus, Dominus" (i.e. Ass Master), "Cheesy Poofs". :guffaw:

You don't even like this version?

Sorry, I see beer. But all I hear is Simon Cowell on X Factor.

He's ruined my life... :(

:D

I never could see what was so marvelous about the Orff Carmina Burana and am totally burned out on 'O, Fortuna' but that's quite clever.

See past O Fortuna (but not for long) and it's one of the most cathartic hours of classical music to be experienced. It gets quite saucy towards the end, too.
