Ever tasted breast milk?

I'm wondering if there's a market for human breast milk. Set up a mobile milking parlour to visit sink estates, and pay single mothers on the dole to relieve them of their spare lactations. A bit like wet nurses in the days of yore.

It's already marketed for babies whose mothers cannot nurse or people who cannot eat regular food - usually a patient has to be fairly medically frail to require that, though.

Tasted it, it wasn't bad.

Probably worth noting that the composition changes substantially over time, as the child grows, so what tastes good one month might taste really bad the next.

Human curiosity. Besides would you feed your baby something you're not willing to eat?

Thanks for the information. It certainly is outside my realm of knowledge. Not sure what I'm going to do with it, though.
I think folk dancing seems more interesting to try.

Clearly you haven't been around much baby food.

Declined to force pureed spinach into my kids for just that reason. The teeny hotdogs in a jar they market for toddlers is also horrific.

GrtMmboChix - couldn't agree more. Unless of course you need the extra $!

I bet you won't get many women on this thread saying yes.

perhaps not many, but at least one ^^

I had a very wonderful encounter with a woman who had recently had a baby.

I have to say I felt somewhat privledged for many reasons.

one.. she was beautiful.. I mean, omg I still get hot thinking about her.

two... she was beautiful inside as well, just a true sweet person.

three... I was allowed to experience a wonderful part of biology that most adults don't get to.

Of course. My wife breast fed both of our children. I'll tell you that i didn't really think is was all the good. And it total wreaked my fantasies about it.

That's the first time I've heard the phrase “sink estate.” I Googled it. It's what we Yanks call “the projects.”

Hanging out here on Trek BBS has made me positively trans-Atlantic!
