Ever have a dream that you were a superhero?

I had a dream that I was Superman. Flying in dreams is always cool, but the weird part was in addition to wearing glasses, another aspect of my "disguise" was that I somehow had the power to grow and retract facial hair. So Superman is clean-shaven and civilian me has fuzz. And apparently that's enough in this day and age to count as a workable disguise.

I also apparently had a relationship of sorts going on with Lois Lane, but when the day was over I'd go home to Allison Mack... at which point it turned into a different type of dream.

I commonly experience lucid dreams where I use control over the dream-scape to fly. Often that power manifests by seeing I am wearing a shirt with the Superman s-shield. Although, I did have one many years ago where I had the Iron Man armor on. I remember that one because it was like a big disaster movie where a massive tsunami flooded the west coast.

I have had dreams where I could conjure up any object, fly short-distance or move things with my thoughts. Moreso in the dream I'm afraid of losing the ability (aka waking up). Never dreampt I was Superman, though...

It isn't that I am dreaming I am Superman when this happens. I am still me. I just notice that I am wearing a shirt with the s-shield on it and it gives me the idea to fly. It happens on the dreams where I am on the cusp of lucidity, and seeing something like that is what pushes it to full lucid. Other dream elements can do it too. But this is one that has recurred a few times for me. Likely due to ~40 years of reading comics.

I've dreamed that I had superpowers, especially during the rare lucid dream, but I don't recall ever being a specific superhero.

No I haven't but I dreamt just the other day I had telekinesis ability. It was brilliant, I could stretch my arm out and just by concentrating on an object I could move it, make it float the lot.
I love TK dreams.

I did have this dream I may have discussed previously in another thread on dreams (quite a lot of them, aren't there? ;)) where I could see the past, present and future plot threads of that particular situation I was in, and I was connecting the dots between each event, but ultimately powerless to change things.

I don't "do" flying dreams. I'm a down-to-earth person, even in my dreams.

I do remember when I was a young child that I did have a dream about creating a fighting robot out of LEGO® and using it to attack a powerful and gigantic electricity-using monster that was threatening our school.
