Ever encounter someone you know...

At least I haven't run into anyone I wasn't happy to see. Yet. The only more recent encounters were both a couple of years ago, running into people up on the corner from here that I knew ten or twelve years earlier, including a woman who lived with me for a couple of years.

I'm going to meet a few unpleasant people next month: class meeting. Haven't been to one in 30 years but I'd like to get the addresses of a few old friends I lost contact with and one has to take the bad with the good *sigh*.
Ah well, I almost doubled my weight since I finished school (I was extremely underweight then) and if one of the bullies tries his old tricks I'll just sit on them till they're flat as a stamp!

^It has been a while, but when I first joined Facebook, I kept getting a friends request from someone I didn't know. She seemed to know who I was. But I didn't recognize her in her pictures at all. I figure it was someone I met in passing time to time when I was growing up but not really someone I knew as I tend to remember people better than most people.

Maybe a girl you once knew, but now with a different last name. I was in contact with people on classmates for a while, but none of the girls had their maiden names so I was at a disadvantage trying to remember them. None were anyone I dated.

About ten years ago I was doing a World War II re-enactment at a multi-period event near London, then a strange man in English Civil War garb called my name - it was a guy I'd gone to school with and hadn't seen in over twenty years.
