Not especially. I equate to gushing over the Transformers movie. That depends on what a "fan" is. Is it some dude who will see XII because XI had lots of 'splosions or a person who becomes interested in Trek's previous incarnations and watches some of them? If we're referring to the latter, than no I don't think so. Within my circle of friends, all of them loved this movie but not a one will be seeking out any other trek. XI was just a good summer action flick... and Spock was hot.You feel that it will make no new fans?
