Even greater appreciation for "Tapestry"

Not really mainly because I've seen It's a Wonderful Life so often and many more times than Tapestry so the episode doesn't have a lasting impact other than entertaining me.

But the message of Tapestry is different from "It's a Wonderful life", there are similarities but the core message is quite different.

"Tapestry", "All good things..."...those are the episodes that defined Picard. "Tapestry" is one of my favorite all-Trek episodes, mostly because it shows us that life is good just the way it is. This is a thing more of us should be understanding.

Picard's response to Q's claim that he is god: "The universe is not so badly designed!" is one of the best Trek lines ever. Classic episode.
