Eurovision Song Contest 2015

So.. 2016 hockey world championships in Russia and now also ESC in Russia? Two big spring events, atleast in Finland..

Looks like their has been some voting irregularities this year

After the show, Eurovision organisers revealed there had been irregularities with the votes from the juries in Macedonia and Montenegro.
The points awarded by each country are normally determined by a combination of a jury and a public vote.

A statement said: "The jury results of FYR Macedonia and Montenegro for the grand final have been excluded after consultation of PricewaterhouseCoopers, the contest's independent voting observer, and upon the decision of the executive supervisor and the chairman of the reference group.

"In both countries, televoting applied for 100%. The exclusion of two juries will be further discussed in the next reference group meeting in June."

Wasn't sure about SBS selecting Guy to represent Australia in Eurovision, but coming 5th validates that choice. I'd be surprised if anyone else could have done better. His performance on the night was very good and nice to see it rewarded, which isn't necessarily a guarantee in Eurovision.

We also hit our two secret goals: Not coming last. And beating the UK :P

Congrats to Sweden. While we won't be taking part next year looking forward to another crazy song contest.

This year was awful, the only good song was Belgium, everything else sucked. Sweden wasn't completely horrible but forgettable, I don't remember anything about the song.

I don't understand why Germany and Austria both got zero points, neither song was good but they were hardly worse than most of the others.
