Sheriff Carter investigates the disappearance of an Egyptian mummy from Global Dynamics.
Okay, these episode titles are getting a bit too silly now. :p

I just hope I won't be missing any important speakers tonight during the Democratic Convention while watching this. Hopefully it'll just be some senators and congresspeople I don't care about.

Wow....did no one watch?! Or was everyone else watching the Democratic Convention?

Anyways, a great episode and it really emphasized why I love Fargo so much now. Also, a very touching send off for Stark. :(

A pretty good episode. At the begining of the episode I thought it was going to be another monster of the week episode and was pleasantly surprised when it turned out not to be. Plus I don't remember seeing any Degree anywhere, unless it was in the first minute or so.

I wonder how much it's going to cost to replace all of the food in the Cafe Diem freezer?

To prevent dehydration due to internal bug infestation, use Degree! Apply liberally to your body to keep you from drying out!

Carter showed a fair amount of brains this episode! Go Carter!

I'm already starting to find his sister a bit grating.

Very Good.

Let me get my one gripe out of the way. The reappearing and disappearing Stark got creepy after awhile. I know they want us to know he'll never leave Allison and that he'll love her forever, but it was almost stalkerish. I was glad when she put the necklace away. Ed Quinn was looking hot, though.

On to the goodness:

I like Lexi and Jack's relationship. Excellent casting coup. They play siblings very well.

It wasn't a MOTW. It was actually a plausible situation that could happen when opening a sarcophagus.

Someone mentioned earlier in the season that they thought they saw something between Henry and Eva. I'm beginning to think they may have been right. She seemed close to tears when Henry wouldn't help her. Makes me wonder if what's beneath Eureka isn't a what, but a who.

Vincent running around dressed as a pharoah brings on the lolz. Too cute.

Jack...my hero. Sensible, grounded, and smart.

Pretty good. Eureka has a charm all it's own. I do think that losing Stark was a mistake though. does anyone have any scoop as to whether the decision came from the top or from Quinn himself?

I've read somewhere on these boards that Quinn didn't want to do 21 episodes this year so he left.

I gave it a very good rating.

But there is one thing nobody's seemed to notice.

Where is Allison's son? Her son has been absent from the show so far. Why is that?

Secondly, I had an off the wall stray thought about Henry.

What if Henry is her son from the future? Could be something worth considering.

I think because they realized it wasn't a great idea in the first place.

that's interesting though i think i would prefer that they didn't go this route...

Althought there's dead bugs everywhere in there, is the food damaged? There's a good chance it's all so well sealed that there's no harm. After, the food is all still frozen hard.

Love Carter (as usual).

Love how they're improving Fargo--like he finally found out he had what it takes to be a hero even if he didn't have to be the actual hero.

Love the Pharoah outfit!

I still think Stark is somehow just "out of time" and not dead-dead.

Kevin was seen at the wedding last week. We didn't see him in every episode of the first two seasons either (half at best), so I don't see any need for concern. They just haven't gotten to anything that will deal with him.

I'm pretty sure Vincent said something about how he would have to replace all of his food because he had to drop the temperature so low. Some of the food would be fine, but I doubt all of it would be.

I liked this episode, it balanced the mummy storyline with the followup to the loss of Stark.

One thing though, remember the cloning tech used to bring back the wife in the season 1, episode 2 "Many Happy Returns"? I would think that a cloning profile of Stark, or personality scan, or something would still be around--not necessarily to bring him back fully, but so that Ally would have more to remember him by,

Eva Thorne's character seems to be a bit more humanized but I'm still suspicious of her.

I'm glad Fargo recovered...it was definitely close there for awhile.

I'm extremely suspicious of Eva and her true motivations. I wonder if she's working for the same people Beverly worked for.

However, it could be that her motivations are more honorable than Beverly's was. I hope so.

But she has a lot of clout in order to be able to get Henry a pardon than her job implies.

And it remains to be seen if the source of that clout will be revealed.

I'm interested in knowing what she's searching for.

And Zane was in the episode as well. Hee hee he hee. I just love characters who annoy everybody else because of their brilliance. I don't know what it is but people always have a hatred of the person who is the smartest of the group. The same thing happened with Wesley Crusher. He was smarter than them all and everybody hated him for it.

I rated it very good. Nice little semi-plausible mystery with the sarcofeagous (yes I know I botched the spelling there). Like the expensaion of Eva's character and I like the sister! Hope she stays around a while. Loved the detail of Zoe having Egyptian-style eyeshadow  But mostly I loved loved loved that we got to see Nathan say goodbye to Allison (of sorts). Damn I really do miss him like hell. But I have confidence that the show will work still.
