ESPN Radio Will Never Be The Same

Are you kidding me? Mike Golic, the heart and soul of ESPN sports talk radio is being kicked to the curb as of July 31. In their infinite wisdom, ESPN's suits want to replace Golic's (with Trey Wingo) show with a show with those household radio names Keyshawn Johnson, Jay Williams and Zubin Mehenti. Huh? Well, they have guaranteed at least one long-time listener will never listen to their network again. And Norby Williamson (executive VP at ESPN) up yours you moron.

For the last several years I have only watched/listened to Mike & Mike and Golic & Wingo and an occasional live sports event. They have become a shill for the NFL and to a lesser extent the NBA, neither of which I follow much. I'm a baseball and English football fan and ESPN only pays lip service to the MLB and ignores the Premier League.

ESPN hasn't been all that good for awhile. I miss the days when you had people like Dan Patrick and Rich Eisen and Stuart Scott etc.

ESPN has been worthless outside of their actual live sports content for years. Nothing but blabbering idiot "talking head" shows to fill the hours.
