ESPN Fantasy Football Anyone?

God, what a terrible day! I go from being projected to win by 20-30 points to losing by 25. I got absolutely no production out of anyone. Hell, my top player was Terrell Owens and 11 of his 12 points came on 1 play in the last 7 minutes of the game. Even Orton did better than Brady. I pulled Dumervil from the starting defensive spot for making no points last week, and then he racks up 10 this week. Bloody 'ell!!

I started Tennessee's defense today. Good for -4 points. Whoops. Thought that matchup with the Texans would have been a good one...

I feel guilty. I will win this week because my QB is Drew Brees and my opponent had the Eagles defense. My favorite team's loss has become my win.

Frakking game time decisions. No Wes Welker today. :(

I just happened to see that about 20 minutes before the game started (I have Welker in of my town leagues). I had time to switch things around, but it was dumb luck that I even saw that. Until then, just about every site I went to said to start him- he'd be playing for sure. Turns out he didn't even make the trip.

Edited to add:

I'm glad I played Peg last week.

Funny, I was thinking the opposite. :) Adrian only had 92 yards and 1 TD this week. I may have peaked this week, though.

What a horrible two weeks for me. I believe I have the lowest scoring team in the league. And I think the next worst guy is scoring 20-25 points more than me on average.

I know my problem is my RB situation. All the guys at that position are just shoddy at best.

Any suggestions?

Watch the waiver wire closely to see if there is anyone worth picking up. Also, the news section (Notebook-looking thingy) that is actually a link and the trends seem to help a lot, at least with the ESPN interface.

There's a chance I'll be the only one who's 2-0 at the end of this week. That is, if Donald Brown gets at least 5 points and Peyton gets more than -7.

I ended up having a better week than I thought in the Yearly league. Not happy about Jennings or Miller having 0 points, but a win is a win, and it was without McNabb. Nice start to the season.

I need both Joseph Addai and Reggie Wayne to total at least 45 points tonight. You better believe I'm praying for a shootout.

Given how poorly everyone on my team played thus far, having even an outside chance at a win is nice. Tennessee's defense really hurt me this week. I'd have been better off not starting a defense.

ESPN Fantasy Football Anyone

My buddy and I are doing a league, so if anyone here that wanted to do the ESPN league that got canceled get in here. Were doing it via ESPN; the leagues name is Showtime and its the 10-team H2H league all categories, league owner is JT. The draft is this Saturday, April 4th at 9:30ET so if you want to join just sign up and post in here.

Sure are a lot of injuries this week. In my 3 leagues, I think about half of my WRs are either inactive or game time decisions. Lost a few RBs and a QB as well.

Whew, that was close. Welker's out again this week, but I was able to adjust my lineup in time. :techman:

Not that it matters, since I'm going to get creamed either way.

I'm hoping to get my first win today. Steve Smith is looking like a pretty good pickup decision for me, but Laurence Maroney... well.. not so much.

I finally wheel and deal to field a team that can win - only to be beaten thanks to Peyton Manning. It's just frustrating to have my best week, and still be beaten. Better luck next week, I suppose.
