Episodes you refuse to watch

Yeah,they were sleazy, indeed.
I think it was cleverly done, Joshua, a black man, was Paxton's number two. It had me shouting at the screen that he would have been the victim just 100 years prior.... That character needed to read a history book.

How many people died in the Xindi attack?

A little xenophobia flaring up is understandable.
Understandable yes, morally justified no. And dangerous as the episode testified. And fearing attacks from bad aliens they became what they feared. Have you read the Myriad Universe novel where Terra Prime suceeded and all aliens were deported from Earth. They built a symbolic galatic wall around the Sol system...sounds famaliar lol

I never really had much affection for the ALIEN franchise. I saw Alien VS Predator and had to wonder if it was privately financed, as it sucked so horrifically. What studio would ever allow the release of such garbage? Still, ENTERPRISE could've benefitted from a James Cameron-type approach. As the first prequel, it could've easily gone there. But when I saw the hand of Herman Zimmerman and Mike Okuda all over again, I was disappointed, I have to admit. Could you imagine some Alien queen kidnapping Elisabeth and T'Pol in her body-enveloping forklift hissing at it, "... get away from her, you Bitch!!!" Hell ... they'd still be talking about that one, even now.

AvP definitely fails to replicate the grittiness and epic quality of the first two Alien movies, but on its own it's enjoyable - I'd certainly rather watch it than Alien Resurrection, maybe even Alien 3, let alone the sucky Predator sequels.

ENT just really needed to ditch Mike Okuda and Herman Zimmerman. What started out as being so innovative in TNG got so boring, seeing it series after series. ALIENS didn't have to be what was borrowed from, at all ... but a grittier approach would've been so welcome for ENTERPRISE ... to finally have shed that stale Art Direction.
