Episodes They Should've Done

Honestly, at the very least there should've been an episode where Crusher's entire medical team was center stage. We know nearly nothing about any of them. She had Martinez the entire time. Apparently, Selar is still around down there somewhere. This whole show we only ever need the one medical person beaming down per situation? I don't think so. I'd think Starfleet medical crews would be even more busy than their security or command teams.

If you discount Barclay, the same thing could be said of the engineering team....and pretty much every other department aboard the ship.

If you take Trek literally then the senior staff solve over 90% of the problems without any support from other crew.

Dr.Selar should have appeared more often in the series outside of one episode and a mention! Back in the day I doubt anyone would have recognised Suzie Plakson as K'Ehleyr and Selar!
JB

Why didn't we get an episode featuring Female Q, a mysteriously revived K'Ehleyr, and Doc Selar together? Suzie P times three!

I was thinking of an episode where terrorists want to cause some mischief using the Enterprise and so hack into Data so they can control him like a VR suit, as a way to have Brent act like a scumbag for an episode. Then I realised that's just "The Schizoid Man" crossed with "The Assignment." Also a bit Battlestar because I was thinking the terrorist should be Dean Stockwell.

Also a bit of, "The Mind's Eye" there, and possibly "Masks" as well.

I'd watch that episode.

And Power Play

You know... That raises the point that there's been countless "possessions" or doppelganger episodes, for our regular actors to play against their norm... but Worf never got one :klingon:

^"Genesis"? Or was that Worf leaning into his norm? :klingon:
LOL Well, technically it is a diversion, but it's not really a chance for Dorn to play against type, like Stewart's Locutus, Spiner's "Masks", or Sirtis in Power Play, Clues, Man of The People... & probably 80 more lol
