Episodes that would have made great movies

There are a lot of complaints that some of the movies seemed more like two part episodes of the series rather than real cinematic experiences. My question is which episodes, done right, would have made awesome movies and why? And I'm putting out BOBW and Yesterday's Enterprise right now because they're the obvious ones, although feel free to dispute that opinion.

All Good Things....

Was fantastic. Absolutely brilliant. I watch it every time I see it.

Just fabulously done from beginning to end.

Frame of Mind. It could have come out a very surreal movie..

But again, a lot of people would have felt it wasn't trek....

If you hadn't made 'First Contact', then 'Best of Both Worlds' would have made a great movie. Borg, Picard assimilated, 359...it would have been awesome.

There would have to be some expansion and increase in depth but "Redemption" (particularly epic and cinematic although trying to cover many months could be a double-edged sword), "Attached" (naturally focusing more on fewer characters in a more intense situation, I think Generations and Insurrection did use similar ideas with location photography) or "Phantasms" (a pretty different kind of story, style and adversary than usual) could have worked well.

I think that you could do a major overhaul of "The Chase" or "Conspiracy" and have a made a pretty cool Star Trek movie that actually would translate well to the big screen.

The Chase
Yesterday's Enterprise

Where No One Has Gone Before
Redemption I and II
Birthright I and II

The Chase would be good because it would provide an opportunity for not hardcore Trek fans to understand why so many aliens are bipedal and humanoid looking (although it was really due to budgetary and limited special effects issues in the early days, realistic looking sentient arachnids would be too costly and difficult).

Yesterday's Enterprise.

Then we could have seen Worf as a leader of the Klingon Empire or something.

Where No One Has Gone Before
All Good Things
Inner Light (maybe)
Frame of Mind because I love all the mental games it plays
Q Who
and probably some others.

I always thought "Lower Decks" would have made a good movie. It would have been enjoyable to get more into the lives of everyone else on the Enterprise who wasn't a senior officer. Plus it would have allowed us to see more of the ship.

"The Survivors"
To see the Husnock and the battle that took Rishon and Kevin's freaking out, all dramatically. Then, to have that unbelievable climax when he kills every last Husnock ... how that might've presented itself onscreen, would've been so over-the-top! If handled correctly, it could've been a very powerful story.

I've always wondered -as it's often been talked about - how Yesterday's Enterprise would have worked - a major expansion would have been showing the Klingons.

Even though they are already TV Movies (the 10 double length stories have been released on home videos as such numerous times here in the UK) The Best of Both Worlds and All Good Things would have been epic on the big screen!

All Good things could almost have been a movie perhaps?!

It was written simultaneously with Generations so the scripts could have been switched (though they'd have to do something about the fate of the Ent-D!)
