Episode filming

I keep coming across shooting dates in compiling information for Memory Alpha. Often, this will be the date of one day's filming, and then the place that day has in the overall shooting schedule. For example, I know that October 23, 1995 was the seventh of nine days shooting on "Our Man Bashir".

Now, what I am trying to figure out from that is the precise date range in which the episode was filmed. So, my question is: does filming include weekends?

(Please don't say "it depends", because that would drive me insane... )

I doubt it.

The seventh day of filming is probably day two into the second 'working week' of filming.

Or in certain circumstances, as you've said, they continue working through the weekend.

I'd go with the first option personally.

It would more than likely be much later in the second week of filming, if not into the third week. Remember there are a lot of union workers involved in filming, and they can't work more than a few hours every week.

Usually, no they don't film on weekends. There may be the occasional circumstance that requires some weekend work, but those are few and far between.
