Enterprise Opening Credits

No, I'm not here to bitch about the theme song (I actually kinda like it *ducks* )

My question is this. I'm already four episodes into season 2 and one thing I can't decide. Whenever text is on the screen, for example, when it says "Enterprise," is the text expanding? Or is it effect of all the images moving in the background? Sometimes it looks like its not, but I swear it looks like it does.

I like the theme song, but it's still the worst of all five theme songs. It just doesn't feel like Trek to me. The lyrics are good for a prequel, but considering that the first three seasons could have easily been done in the other series, they should have gone with something like the previous theme songs (Don't get me wrong, I do like the first three seasons, even the first two).

Yes, each text overlay is slowly expanding while it appears on the screen.

Yes, Faith of the Heart is stupid, but it DOES work if you take the words away. The instrumental version on the end credits of Broken Bow is alot better. They should have used that instead. And I still don't know why they jazzed it up in the Xindi season which was supposed to be darker. Stylistically, it doesn't match up. The opening music of In a Mirror Darkly would have been more appropriate there.

I actually liked Faith of the Heart the first time I saw the intro. But after a few episodes I quickly grew sick of it.

I first noticed that the words expand when FF during Play...you can easily see the words are moving further apart.

I like the song, especially during Seasons 3 ans 4.

Yea they are expanding.

Its not a HORRBILE intro, and I think the intro video is very fitting for the show, was nice to see something besides shots of the ship or base in space. I think the lyrics hurt it a lot.
