Enterprise library shots...

Cool!

Here are extended footage of familiar Enterprise library shots that were later trimmed for use onscreen:

I would love to see footage like this cleaned up. One in particular is of the ship pivoting away from the camera and moving away into the distance--never seen in its entorety onscreen.

Nice!

It would be pure indulgence, but I would love to see a full up 11 footer Enterprise used to recreate the original sequences as well as new ones. That would look sweet in a properly remastered TOS.

Man, what a project that would be.

Considering how Roddenberry pilfered film trims for Lincoln Enterprises, I'm surprised this footage survived at all. I love it, thanks for posting it.

One of my favourite sequences is included here: the Enterprise comes out of the distance and it looks like you're going to collide with the nav deflector housing. Awesome! :techman:

While I enjoyed what they did for the remastered series, nothing, but nothing beats the look of an actual physical model on screen. Boy I love vintage starship porn.

I was watching a redone "The Ultimate Computer" the other night, and it torqued my jaws to see the shot with that sequence edited next to McCoy's walking away from the camera is now just a memory.

Then I have some tapes you can borrow

That's an awesome find there, Warped9!! That old model moves gracefully across the screen unlike some (not all) of the remastered CGI shots that have the ship darting and zipping like something out of a video game.
