ENTERPRISE design in the new film? (How many changes?)

Let's cut the cocks off, then. This ship is a female!

Where can I start a petition against the transgender Enterprise?

J.J. I beg you. Cut the cocks off the Enterprise!

I DEMAND IT!

I think they will keep it much the same but will prob add some details to the hull..I'm for keeping the uniforms and equipment the ssame BUT I'll keep an open mind we may just actually LIKE the changes they make Ya'll.

The Enterprise is often referred to a lady. The elegant and iconic design of Matt Jefferies makes HER very beautiful indeed. Keep it clean with simple lines and symetry. She's a lady folks, don't muck it up and turn her a man.

I want to see boobs on the Enterprise.
Kirk's man boobs ain't enough for ya, Cogley?

I want to see boobs on the Enterprise.

That's what Wesley Crusher and Reg Barclay were for.

Or a movie about Spartan warfare with a hard rock sound track. That' wouldn't sell well at all.

:sighs: Not the sound track, northern soldiers gangsta rapping to the front lines.
Thank you for clarifying the apparently miscomprehension of Guartho to what I thought (and clearly YOU thought, too) was a pretty simply point.

So let me restate, for those few you might not have grasped it (like Guartho)...

It would be like having George Washington played by Snoop Dog wi' his bitches and ho's dancing next to 'im. Yo, yo, y o...

I DID think you were referring to the sound track... but now that you mention it, I think I would like to see this movie you're describing. Perhaps in the next "____ Movie" movies. You know, the ones you see for the same reason you slow down to look at a car accident.

It's really simple... if the 1701 is in this film, it should have detailing appropriate to the timeframe (TOS? WNMHGB? Cage? Earlier?) and should otherwise look like this in terms of quality, geometry, and rendering:

I think most people think of the old design lookin kind of crappy just because of the quality of film way back when. Updated with modern CG technology, the original version of the ship is absolutely gorgeous.

However, there were always too few windows for my tastes. What the point of flying through space if you can't look out your window at all the pretty nebulae and asteroids and murderous Klingon Birds of Prey?

How many changes scold Enterprise in XI be is ask. I do think original Enterprise is obsolete design and evan thou Enterprise Refit was vast improvements has same weakens as the original. Personally i favor streamlined, compact and sporty deign but still has Enterprise signature(saucer, engineering hull an 2 nacelles). I think this 2 design http://gabekoerner.com/fx/Gallery/nightshade1064.jpg by gabe koerner and
http://bridgecommander.filefront.com/screenshots/File/50019/4 good starting concept for new Enterprise..

^Case in point.

I keep noticing that people who grew up with the new stuff want the old ships to look like the new ships. That's kind of like saying that you could do a Revolutionary War era movie but "update it" to include gangsta rap.

No windows ! No windows ! TNG E looked like a damn computer card it was so ugly. Viewing ports ! Electronic viewing ports. Sleek clean design.

The general shape of the original E is a good one, but the styling, detailing and execution will not fly with modern audiences. The Enterprise will look significantly different when it graces big screens next year, it's as simple as that.

Someone suggested the love child of the NX-01 and the 1701.

Well, that would be my favourit ship by Dennis Bailey :)

But I can and will accept any changed they most certainly are going to make.
