Enterprise D model

oktavian

Cadet
Newbie
anyone knows the most accurate model kit of enterprise D that is not gigantic but decent in size around 2 foot/20 or so inches?

Closest I know of is the 1:1400 scale one... commonly available in hobby stores. Can be found on line. But, it's smaller than your looking for. Closer to ... 18 inches? Been a while since I got a close up and personal look at one, as the ones I've built over the years have all migrated away...

The only inaccuracy that I can think of off the top of my head is the lack of one bank of inset windows just forward of the Captain's Yacht. And there are plenty of aftermarket bits for it.

If you're talking about the AMT kit, it was also missing the windows around the entire lower lip of the saucer. (At least mine is maybe that was corrected later.)

that AMT model seems ok , thanks for the answers
do you know for some site that sells that bits what are missing?

I don't have time to look through all of it to find you the exact parts you need, but check out http://www.federationmodels.com/ and just enjoy perusing it all. I'm sure what you're looking for can be found there.

Have fun!
