Enterprise Bridge Details

I like the set, but there's a lot of empty space. The extra consoles from the Kelvin movies or those podiums with the sheets of holographic glass would have helped, IMHO.
I hate this trend of see through displays. It doesn't make any sense and doesn't seem practical. I know it gives more options to shoot from, but it's just a tired cliche to me at this point.

I love the details. Some labels on the buttons and switches would make sense, but it hardly matters to a TV viewer.

About the only thing I don't care for on the Discoprise bridge is the walkway behind the consoles which leads to a doorway on the starboard side. That changes the shape and flow of the bridge in a way that seems unnecessary.

If anything the Enterprise's bridge is cramped and claustrophobic compared to Disco's bridge, or even the Shenzhou's bridge.

Yeah...I like it busier. :D

In most respects this version of the Enterprise bridge is more faithful to the TOS set both in detail and in overall design than any other that has been done - excepting, of course, the recreations of that set that were done for three of the Trek TV series. I don't have any trouble buying it as Kirk's TOS bridge, and it's by far a better rethinking of that set than the STDPrise CG model is of Jefferies' original ship design.
