Pretty sure if everything is true, and assuming that I am at the gates of Heaven therefore everything up to this point is true, then I should be "in" no problem because I've done everything I should.

The difference is that if someone has accepted Christ and He is in that person's heart, that person would no longer be the person he was before.

The question is irrelevant. Without knowing exactly what 'entering heaven' is going to mean for me, I would be unable to answer.

I find it hard to believe that somebody wouldn't know the answer they'd give. If you've lived a good decent life and not been an asshole and done plenty of good and you put others before yourself then i'd say one would be worthy to enter. If someone has been a and thought of nobody but themselves and not done much good then i'd say they wouldn't be worthy of entering.

I would imagine that even those who believe they should enter would possibly have second thoughts once they're stood there at the pearly gates. Perhaps they'd feel guilty and agree to spend some time in hell to repent.

I can't argue with that since my knowledge of the Bible is somewhat limited, but I'm pretty sure that my catholic teachers told me that hell is eternal and can be only so because it's out of time, stuck in an ever-lasting moment of now (the same would be true for heaven).

So ..., if by accepting Christ into their heart, a 'bad' person becomes a 'good' person, then the 'good' person who accepts Christ will become a 'bad' person?
