Random Theme: Fictional Kings

No problem. Sorry for the repeat theme.

(This is actually one I created for a VOY Theme entry a few contests back. Since it's from this episode, I'm reusing it here, because I just really like the image. If anyone objects to this reuse, let me know.)

Theme (Not Themselves):

- Tuvok possessed by the Komar in Cathexis

Random (Fictional Kings):
OTOH, I figured it would be more fun to not reuse my entry from the last version of this theme. As bbjeg mentioned, there are a lot of fictional kings out there.

- King Kong

^ I got that one, but I guess it helped that I read Hive.

I'm still trying to figure out Orac's though... I always assumed that was supposed to be Abraham Lincoln!

In Adventure Time Abraham Lincoln is the King of Mars.

I will admit I've never seen Adventure Time... but that sentence is made of awesome! :lol:

The show is much deeper than it leads on to be. It's definitely one of the top post apocalyptic cartoon shows out there.

I don't really know that much about the show, so I didn't realize it was actually a post-apocalyptic setting. But I'm curious, now... you mention it's one of the "top" post-apocalyptic cartoon shows out there... is that really a large category? I'm actually interested in PA fiction... if there are some good shows out there that I'm missing out on, please let me know!

I'm also including animes, and there are tons of them to choose from.

A friend of mine watched the show with his kid and suggested that I watch it due to several references to RPG games we play including Dungeons and Dragons, Exalted, and World of Darkness. I've haven't watched the most recent episodes but they never outright say it used to be earth but they speak of a Mushroom War that sounds more and more like World War III, reinventing things, and they've shown flashbacks to a city like world. It's surprisingly a good show.

... and the line up;

Shortly before her death in the future, Kes begins to travel backwards in time, with a portion of events occurring in the Year of Hell.

Thanks! I'll have to check the show out sometime. It seems I've only ever heard positive things about it. :techman:
