again, thanks for the votes in the last contest. the theme for our current contest will be the Academy Awards. any film that won an Oscar in any category. Best Picture, SFX, Best Actor, etc. standard contest rules apply.
 
My first thought -

American Beauty was nominated for eight Academy Awards, and won five of 'em, includin' Best Picture, Best Director (Sam Mendes), Best Actor (Kevin Spacey) and Best Original Screenplay.

Got a few other ideas for other movies, but this entry doesn't even require animated frames...
