Well, we had a lot of ideas in the suggestion box thread but I decided to go with what Tulin, Auntiehill, and myself liked as that seemed to be the only real consensus.

So, avatars based on commercial "characters" like Mr. Clean, Mr. Whipple, etc. Any commercial character, animated or live action, from any country.

As always, avatars no larger than 140x140 pixels and 70KB. The entry thread will stay up through next Wednesday with the voting thread going up on Thursday.

There are a couple of images that immediately sprung to mind when I saw the category of this contest and I haven't decided yet, but I'm leaning towards one of these two:
