(Get your minds out of the gutter, people. Not THAT kind of stripping)
The theme is movie adaptations of newspaper comic strips (note: NOT comic books).
The usual rules apply.
The special rules are:
As noted above, comic strips, not comic books.
The characters/strips have to have originated in the newspaper comics. So, for example, Flash Gordon is fair game. Buck Rogers isn't. The Phantom is eligible. Spider-Man isn't.
SF and fantasy ARE allowed.
Movies, not TV.
The movie version should be the avatar, not the strip version.
I would anticipate the poll going up Sunday night EST.
