Good work as always, guys!

The next episode up is one of my favorites: All Our Yesterdays. The new Theme is Treknology (so dig up your sound absorbers and cloaking devices). The Random Theme will be Scum and Villainy (as long as it's SF & F, it's allowed).

Entries should be no larger than 140x140px and/or 70kb (again for Rat Boy: not larger than 70kb :p) and are accepted until Saturday evening (CET). If someone needs more time feel free to bother me with a PM. :p

Here's the Pantheon of Winners!

I hope everyone has fun!

Trekcore's TOS Section is down at the moment, so here is just my random theme entry for the moment:

(BTW, is Eliyahu your real name?)

Eliyahu is my real Hebrew name. My legal name is John, which is what everyone in the real world calls me, but I find Eliyahu to be far less boring ;)

John, incognito
Eliyahu sounds VERY cool! I wish I had such an unusual name. Excuse my ignorance, but what does this mean, it's your real Hebrew name and John is your legal name? What's the name your parents gave to you?

Michael, learning

Well, most Jews have two names. Their name in whatever language is spoken where they live and a Hebrew name, which is used mostly in religious settings. Some have a given name that is the English (or whatever) version of their Hebrew name, some--like mine--are totally different. Since I actually converted to Judaism as an adult I chose my Hebrew name myself. John is what my folks chose. I chose Eliyahu because Elijah (which is the English version of Eliyahu) was always one of my favorite Biblical personages. "Qeoni" is a bit of a joke on my part as its Hawaiian for "John" :)

John.. er.. Eliyahu, having an identity crisis!

^ Ah, cool, thanks. I didn't know that about Judaism. To be honest, I wondered about your username since I first saw it on the BBS. Finally I know now. :) Another reason actually to like Judaism. (I'm atheist, but Judaism is my favorite religion.)

Slips in with an episode entry:

So hard to watch Spock say goodbye to Zarabeth. (Speaking of Spock, Leonard Nimoy has signed for Creation Vegas :)).

^ Ooh, it's very cool to see some new faces – but old friends – around here. ;) Thanks for entering JiNX and YYZ!

Yeah, it's not very clear in the Theme descriptions, but the avatar should show something from TOS (or TAS), sorry. Unfortunately I can't change the OP anymore ...

Oh ok, I'll change my entry later. i almost used something else, but I love the sound the ENT tricorders make!
Thanks for your courtesy, YYZ. I loved the sound, too. I even liked the design of it, although I thought it looked too new in comparison to the TOS tricorder.

Well, actually I listened to the "Broken Bow' commentary, and (first I respect Berman as a producer, even if I don't love everything he does) well he made an interesting point that it's difficult to make technology seem more primitive then something done for a TV show forty years before, so what they decided to was "split the difference' and come up with something that COULD be more primitive in its essence but still reflected something for today's future. I think their tricorder design splits the difference very well.
