IIRC there was an episode where Homer skipped church to stay home and watch football and ended up having a conversation with God. So from a fantasy standpoint, I'd say it's OK. Not that I'm suggesting that God is a fantasy...

Also, there were Halloween episodes involving aliens. And the Twilight Zone parody of "Little Girl Lost," where Homer falls into a three-dimensional realm.
