Thanks for the votes, everyone! This week's challenge is "SF/F Royalty & Nobility" - any character who is a ruler and/or has a traditional title such as King, Queen, Duke, Count, etc.
Characters who are clearly rulers of something, like Ming the Merciless, can get away with "non-traditional titles" or even with not having a title at all, as long as their rule is hereditary, arbitrary, and/or non-democratic. If you're gonna be a funky elected Queen Amidala type "ruler," you better have a traditional title to back that up.
As per usual for me, I'm sure I'll be liberal in enforcing the rules so as not to discourage creativity.
I'll collect nominations till the weekend looms and then put up the poll. Good luck everyone!

I wasn't sure anyone would recognize it.
Or go really obscure and do Mrs. Ethel Shroake of 393A High Street, Leytonstone, from 'The Bed-sitting Room'. After the apocalypse, this former charwoman at the palace was the closest relation to the dead queen and became the next monarch of Great Britain.
