Decided I'm gonna go with the close up for this one -

Out of the three, I like Martian Manhunter...
Yeah. I really hoped for more from Dick Tracy. Gonna have to work that one out.
I've met the director & the guy he had playin' Batman in that & Dead End. Dude has an ego big as all get out, too. Said durin' his Q&A that it wasn't a coincidence that work began on both Batman Begins AND Alien vs Predator after the fan response to his Dead End.And I'm not sure about the last one, since it was "only" a fan-made trailer.
Well, since he didn't get anything else out of it, I'd say let him have this one. Ridiculous as it may be.
So, a few others, including some more Dick Tracy attempts.

You have to attempt, though, that that movie was very "nice looking" in terms of costumes, sets and cinematography.
I thought about using Road to Perdition or American Splendor, but I don't know if they qualify for sci fi even though they are comic books.
I'll just go with one of my favorites as a kid, though I don't like the film much. I chose this image because, well, Eva Mendes is very pretty. I don't think a scene like this actually occurs in the film, just the poster.
