Hey folks,

2013 is coming to a close in little more than a week, and it's been quite a year, also for SF and Fantasy. So, for this contest, show us what you liked, or didn't like this year.

Usual rules, of course.

Here's my entry:

This has become my new favorite comic series. I love Superman, but I hate the New 52, and this is not just an alternative, the format of short stories by different writers and artists with very little editorial interference makes those creative teams to bring out their best and keep it about what they actually have to say about the character. Plus, it brought back the red trunks.
So, yeah, even more than that related movie, this has been my favorite genre thing this year.

This thread has pointed out to me that, due to a number of reasons, I haven't really watched much new SF this year. I'm familiar with a number of releases, but the contest is supposed to be for things you *liked* (or didn't like). I read a lot more than I watched, but I don't believe that many of the books were new 2013 releases. However... I am really enjoying the Star Trek: The Fall miniseries that has come out this year. It started a bit slow, but all the books after #1 have been amazing. Hopefully this will continue with the final book in the series, which should be out any day now!
